Job Summary:

The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving financial reporting process improvements. This role plays a key part in month-end and year-end close activities, financial analysis, audits, and tax filings, while also managing a team and supporting strategic financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting:

    • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

    • Analyze financial results and develop detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

  2. Closing Activities:

    • Schedule and monitor monthly closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

    • Ensure all financial entries and reconciliations are properly recorded.

  3. Regulatory Compliance:

    • Prepare and file annual income tax returns and related SEC filings.

    • Assist with annual financial audits and liaise with external auditors to fulfill audit requirements.

  4. Process & Controls Improvement:

    • Recommend and implement process improvements and enhancements to internal controls.

  5. Ad Hoc and Strategic Support:

    • Prepare ad hoc reports as requested by management.

    • Support due diligence activities as needed.

  6. People Management:

    • Lead and develop a team to ensure high performance, accountability, and professional growth.

    • Promote a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

  7. Other Duties:

    • Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by management.


Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA preferred.

  • Extensive experience in financial reporting, audit coordination, and regulatory compliance.

  • Proven track record in people management and team leadership.

Technical Competencies:

  • Proficient in SAP.

  • Strong command of accounting principles and standards.

  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel; proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.

Soft Skills:

  • Advanced analytical and strategic thinking skills.

  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a sense of ownership and accountability.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and time management skills.
