We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Demand Planner to join our team and help us optimize our demand forecasting and business planning processes.
Job Summary:
The Senior Demand Planner oversees demand forecasting for brand partners, including the creation of building blocks and analyzing generated uplift. This role requires excellent planning and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to optimize brand partners, company investments, and operations. The Senior Demand Planner will also lead the company’s integrated business planning to ensure proper alignment of all brand business plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Demand Forecasting:
- Create and provide demand forecasts for all brands based on historical and relevant data to ensure growth while supporting inventory optimization.
- Monitor market trends and conduct competitive scans with brand partners.
Business Planning:
- Lead and improve the company’s periodic integrated business planning sessions.
- Ideate and recommend strategic growth initiatives for brand partners and the company based on data and trends observed.
Process Improvement:
- Identify gaps in processes and create solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Business-related or other relevant disciplines.
- Preferably with experience in business planning reviews and forecasting.
- At least 4-5 years of experience in retail, sales, or similar functions. E-commerce experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the relationship between demand and supply planning and its financial impacts on the company.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to adapt and learn new systems and effectively utilize them.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage and resolve conflicts within the team or with other departments, vendors, or customers.
- Capability to handle high-pressure situations and manage time and resources effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to attend to multiple priorities simultaneously and manage workload effectively.
