Job Summary: The Business Information Supervisor is responsible for designing and executing data-driven initiatives that provide actionable business insights. This role plays a critical part in gathering and analyzing data (including industry trends), developing reports, and recommending strategic actions that support business growth. The position involves coordinating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings to Management for effective decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Intelligence & Reporting
Develop and maintain comprehensive business information reports tailored to various departmental and organizational needs.
Utilize data analytics tools to identify business trends and derive meaningful insights.
Deliver regular KPI reviews and performance metrics for internal stakeholders.
Information Governance & Data Management
Develop and implement cross-functional information governance policies.
Conduct periodic information audits to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Oversee the timely and accurate dissemination of business-critical information across departments.
Strategic Project Management
Lead cross-functional teams on key initiatives, including setting up project reviews and stakeholder management plans.
Ensure on-time delivery of project outcomes aligned with desired results.
Foster a collaborative environment for project execution and knowledge sharing.
Organizational Development & Performance Management
Contribute to the enhancement of the organization’s Performance Management System.
Support the development of a GDEC (Governance, Data, Execution, and Culture) community of practice.
Coach and guide team members, ensuring continuous improvement and capability building.
Ad-hoc Initiatives
Undertake other tasks or special projects as assigned by Management, with a focus on data analysis and process improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in eCommerce, FMCG, or a data-centric business environment.
Strong grasp of eCommerce metrics, digital tools, and activation strategies.
Thorough understanding of company policies, systems, and digital platforms.
Ability to align work with company vision and mission.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Demonstrates independence, initiative, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Capable of managing multiple priorities and handling high-pressure scenarios.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Experienced in coaching, mentoring, and conflict resolution.
Organized, solution-oriented, and a strong team player.
