Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our Finance Department. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for setting clear financial goals, creating strategic roadmaps, and managing resources effectively. Your expertise in analyzing income, expenses, investments, and risks will be crucial in developing a robust financial strategy. You will oversee the budgeting process, perform comprehensive financial analysis, and provide accurate forecasts based on historical data. Additionally, you will create detailed reports to communicate financial recommendations to management.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting and Analyzing:

• Review budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
• Analyze actuals against budget/forecast and prior years.
• Provide management with timely, detailed, and meaningful insights on business performance.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to assist in management decision-making.

Performance Management:

• Manage teams to ensure adherence to company procedures and service standards.
• Train supervisors on proper invoicing processes.
• Handle escalated issues and provide resolutions.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Actively participate in employee growth and development.

Accounting System Support:

• Conduct initial assessments of flagged tickets by key users.
• Address business-critical issues in SAP.
• Support external consultants on troubleshooting via Teams or personal meetings.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Educational Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy. CPA preferred but not required.

Work Experience:

• At least 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years managing a team.

Knowledge Competencies:

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to process large amounts of numerical data.
• Knowledgeable in SAP accounting system.

Skills Competencies:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in financial record-keeping and bookkeeping.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and workloads effectively.
• Competent in coaching, developing, and training supervisors.
• Ability to manage and resolve conflicts.
• Capable of handling high-pressure situations and meeting critical deadlines.
