Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversee the end-to-end process of fulfillment center.
- Develop and maintain efficient order processing workflows to streamline the movement
of orders from receipt to dispatch. - Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure each order is picked,
packed, and shipped with a high degree of accuracy. - Monitor order processing timelines to ensure compliance with established service level
agreements (SLAs) and customer expectations. - Collaborate with the IT department to integrate and optimize order management
systems (OMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) for seamless order
processing. - Conduct regular audits of order processing procedures to identify and address any
bottlenecks or errors. - Establish and enforce protocols for handling special order types, such as rush orders,
backorders, and bulk shipments. - Coordinate with the inventory management team to ensure product availability and
reduce the risk of order delays due to stockouts. - Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices for order processing, emphasizing
accuracy and efficiency. - Develop contingency plans to handle order surges during peak periods and promotional
events, ensuring that additional resources and strategies are in place to maintain order
processing standards. - Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order processing, such
as order accuracy rate, average processing time, and fulfillment error rate, to drive
continuous improvement initiatives. - Implement customer feedback mechanism to gather insights on order fulfillment
performance and make necessary adjustments to enhance customer satisfaction. - Develop and implement operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse activities.
- Schedule and coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers, ensuring optimal routing
and scheduling to meet delivery deadlines. - Monitor the performance of logistics providers, tracking key metrics such as on-time
delivery rate, transit times, and shipment accuracy. - Collaborate with the customer service team to proactively communicate any potential
delays or issues with orders, offering alternative solutions when necessary. - Identify and implement process improvements, leverage data and analytics to monitor
performance, and integrate technology solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce
costs.
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Management Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Operation Management or any in a related field.
- At least with 3-5 years of experience in Warehouse Operations, Fulfillment Management, or any in a related field.
- Can handle a high-pressure working environment.
- Attend to multiple priorities.
